Given the success of the Absolut SchwARTZ series, Wine Tastings were a natural progression in the artist's journey. The impetus for the series followed a screening of the movie, "SideWays." David, accompanied by his wife, Tammy, set out to retrace the roadmap and soon discovered their own adventures, hopping from winery to winery, up and down the California Coast.
Many of the works in the series were started or completed on location. Tammy refers to them as a mixed media of silkscreeen, acrylic stain and Pinot Noir.
